Repair Schedule for Santa Cruz and Rillito River Parks

During January through April 2011 Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation will be resurfacing asphalt paths in the Santa Cruz and Rillito River Parks requiring trail closures.

Beginning January 3, 2011, scupper replacements on the asphalt trail on the north bank of the Rillito River Park will begin requiring trail closures; the use of the south bank trails as alternative routes are recommended.

Asphalt work is expected to begin on the area between First Avenue and Campbell Avenue lasting approximately one month then moving to the west end of the Rillito at the railroad moving continually to the east to completion.

Please refer back here for the latest closure information. Bicyclists should consider River Road as an alternate route. 

Broadway/Congress/Toole/4th Avenue

Construction of the Plaza Centro Parking Garage has reduced access into the east end of downtown.  Ride carefully through the construction area.
