Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Citizen's Police Advisory Review Board and to the general public that the Citizen's Police Advisory Review Board will hold the following meeting which will be open to the public:

The Citizen Police Advisory Review Board has seven voting members, one is appointed by the mayor and each city council member appoints the other six. All voting members must be residents of the City of Tucson and none may currently be a peace officer. All terms are coterminous with the terms of office of the mayor or members of the city council who appointed them. Members may be reappointed, but may not serve more than eight continuous years on the Board.

The Mayor and City Council formed the Citizen Police Advisory Review Board (CPARB) in March of 1997 to review and comment on completed police investigations of complaints brought against the Tucson Police Department (TPD) by citizens. CPARB was formed as a proactive measure, rather than as a reaction to any specific perceived problems within the police department.
