A. ELECTIONS: SPECIAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 2, 1999 – PROPOSITION 200 PROPOSED BY INITIATIVE PETITION, AMENDING ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 27 OF THE TUCSON CODE RELATING TO WATER

B. ELECTIONS: CALLING A CHARTER AMENDMENTS SPECIAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 2, 1999 FOR TWO PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE TUCSON CHARTER – PROPOSITION 100, RELATING TO SALARY ADJUSTMENTS FOR THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL; AND PROPOSITION 101, RELATING TO MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEETING TIMES

(2) Ordinance No. 9270 relating to elections: Calling a special election in the City of Tucson, Arizona on November 2, 1999, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors thereof, Proposition 100, a question relating to amending Sections 8 and 9 of Chapter V of the Charter of the City of Tucson, to provide for an increase in the salary of the Mayor from $3,000 per month to $3,500 per month; and an increase in the salary of each of the members of the Council from $1,500 per month to $2,000 per month.
(3) Ordinance No. 9271 relating to elections; calling a special election in the City of Tucson, Arizona on November 2, 1999, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors thereof Proposition 101, a question relating to amending Section 2 of Chapter IX of the Charter of the City of Tucson, to eliminate the requirement that Mayor and Council hold their regular meetings on the first Monday of each month; instead provide that Mayor and Council, by ordinance, shall schedule a regular meeting to be held during the first full week of each month, and may schedule such additional regular meetings during any month as they deem necessary or desirable; and modernize certain language in the provision to conform to current City usage.
C. REAL PROPERTY: ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY RIGHTS IN THE SANTA CRUZ RIVER BETWEEN ROGER ROAD AND INA ROAD TO OPERATE A MANAGED RECHARGE PROJECT
