ZONING: (C9-98-02) WOON - HARRISON ROAD, SR TO R-1, ORDINANCE ADOPTION
(a) Report from City Manager OCT16-00-599 WIV
(b) Request to rezone property located at the northeast corner of Harrison Road and Escalante Road. Applicant: Clifford Halbert on behalf of the property owners, Gene Dara and Diana Lee Woon. The development plan proposes 25 single-family one-story manufactured housing residences on 7.0 acres utilizing the Residential Cluster Project (RCP) provisions of the Land Use Code (LUC) for a density of 3.57 units per acre. The Development Services Department (DSD) reports that all conditions of rezoning have been met. The Planning Department recommends adoption of the ordinance presented rezoning the property from SR to R-1. The City Manager recommends adoption of the ordinance presented.

(c) Ordinance No. 9472 relating to zoning: Amending zoning district boundaries in the area located on the northeast corner of Harrison Road and Escalante Road in Case C9-98-02, Woon - Harrison Road, SR to R-1 (Ward 4).
Three (3) written approvals and two (2) written protests have been received for this case. Both of the protests are located within the 150 foot notice area resulting in a protest by area of 84.4 percent to the west, 12.03 percent to the north, and zero percent to the south and east.
A three-fourths majority vote will be necessary to adopt the ordinance presented.
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT: WITH ASARCO FOR USE OF CENTRAL ARIZONA PROJECT WATER IN MINING OPERATIONS
(a) Report from City Manager OCT16-00-600 OUTSIDE CITY
(b) Resolution No. 18741 relating to cooperative agreement with ASARCO INC. for the delivery of Central Arizona Project Water.
The City Manager recommends that the Mayor and Council approve the Cooperative Agreement between the City of Tucson and ASARCO for the initial period of November 1, 2000 to October 31, 2001.
