The mission of the General Services Department is to ensure effective, uninterrupted municipal services to City departments and the community by providing well-designed and maintained City facilities; efficiently-managed fleet acquisition, fuel, and maintenance programs; professionally-maintained public safety and public works communications systems; effectively-operated public parking programs and City-wide parking enforcement; and technical resources for energy management and renewable energy utilization.
