The Information Technology (IT) Department is the City of Tucson’s central technology provider with two primary responsibilities.

First, to provide the central information technology services required by city departments and offices, including data center operations, network services, business application development and maintenance, end user support for personal computers (PCs), strategic technology investigation, project oversight, and contract administration for the city’s telecommunications and cable TV providers.

Second, to provide the vision, leadership, and skills that will enable the City of Tucson to benefit from technological innovation and improve service to the community.

Our primary goal is to enable access to City information and services conveniently, securely and efficiently.
