Featured Project: Neighborhood Enhancement Teams (NETeams)
Description
Neighborhood Enhancement Teams (NETeams) is a program developed approximately five years ago to improve the responsiveness and quality of service that the City of Tucson delivers to the community. NETeams are made up of staff members from city departments who volunteer to work with the neighborhoods. There are currently over 100 city employees who are NETeam members.

The goal of NETeam members is to participate in neighborhood association activities and become partners who can assist in bringing city resources to the neighborhoods. NETeam members work with neighborhoods in defining their goals and in realizing their dreams of what their neighborhood should be. NETeam members offer their labor, expertise, and commitment to the neighborhood associations.
Key Features
Partners
The Pima County Attorney's Office, the University of Arizona, Adult and Juvenile Probation, Teens & Television Interacting, and the Arizona National Guard DDR (Drug Demand Reduction) Unit are members of the Resource Neighborhood Enhancement Teams.

Neighborhood associations across the community now have direct access to city service providers through the establishment of NETeams. In partnering with neighborhoods, NETeam members work with residents to help them improve their quality of life.
