Fall Fiesta Health & Safety Fair
My office is proud to partner with Wards 2 and Ward 5, the Tohono Oodham Nation, and the Ocotillo Learning Center to present the Fall Fiesta Health and Safety Fair. The Fair will offer:
Safety classes in English and Spanish
Free Car Seats, Booster Seats and Bike Helmets
Music, kids activities, fire trucks, and police vehicles on display
Free food/drink

Know Where to Throw is Recycle Fun!
I am happy to announce that my office is partnering with City of Tucsons Environmental Services Department and Tucson Clean and Beautiful as a collection site for Know Where to Throw. From October 1-November 3 bring your old garden hoses, bicycle tires, inner tubes, blue jeans and plastic grocery bags to Ward offices and other collection locations throughout the community. Collected recycled items will be transformed into new products, saving landfill space and natural resources. Items collected will be posted, showing the results of the campaign at www.knowwheretothrow.com. Media Release - Electrical Upgrade at Tucson Water Main Office May Affect Website Service
A major electrical upgrade is scheduled to take place at the main Tucson Water building, 310 West Alameda Street, from 6 PM, Friday, October 19, through 6 AM, Monday, October 22. This work may result in intermittent delays in online services available on Tucson Waters website. This can include viewing ones utility account, making a payment online, sending an e-mail to Tucson Water, etc. Someone who encounters difficulty is asked to wait a short time and try again. All systems are expected to be back to normal by Monday, October 22.
During this time, there will also be no access to the building or to the underground parking area.
