In 1990, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was established to ensure inclusive and equal opportunity for persons with disabilities in all aspects of American life. The ADA prohibits dicrimination on the basis of disability and provides for equal access to programs, services and activities.

Filing an ADA Complaint
If you feel you have been discriminated against by an employer, organization, institution, or business entity within the City of Tucson city limits, please contact the Office of Equal Opportunity Programs (OEOP) at (520) 791-4593 or TDD (520) 791-2639 or download a Complaint form.
The OEOP will review your complaint and determine whether or not any action is required. If there is a need for action, the OEOP will investigate the complaint and issue its findings.
Please help the City identify barriers to accessibility in its facilities and/or programs/services for persons with disabilities such as:
Restrooms, doors, counters, paths of travel, elevators, and drinking fountains;
Ramps, slopes, curb cuts, sidewalks, parking, paths of travel, and handrails;
Service animals, classes, meetings, voting, payments and KIDCO
