Youth & Teen Programs

KIDCO summer recreation program

A summer program for ages 5-12 years (5 year olds must have completed kindergarten, proof may be required). Games, arts and crafts, sports, nutrition, music, movies, reading time, dance and lots of fun. Offered Monday-Friday from 7:30am-6pm. No program on Thursday, July 4.

Session 1 - June 3-28 (4-weeks) $125/$157
Session 2 - July 1-26, (4-weeks) $125/$157

Participants may register for one or both sessions.

Jr. Staff in Training Program Summer

Teen must be registered. Volunteer program for ages 13-17.

Clements Kid’s Crossing

Access to the Kid’s Room and Playground.

Parents must be in attendance, and are responsible for the care and safety of their child.  Open Play opportunity for parents and kids to socialize, be creative, and have fun.  Space is limited to 10 individuals at a time in the space.

Cost: Daily Fee
Time: Monday – Friday 10am to 3pm

Senior Club

Card games, board games, billiards, crafts, swimming, exercise equipment.

Clements Active Adult Programs

City of Tucson Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with the Pima Council on Aging, will offer an outstanding program designed to enhance the quality of life and the opportunity for greater independence for older adults and support caregivers.

Classes held at various Parks and Recreation Centers. If you or a person you know can benefit from this program, please call 520-791-5787.

Enhance Fitness Program

Monday, Wednesday and Friday
8:30 am-9:30 am.

Aims to improve health and physical performance in older adults. Class includes warm-up, cool-down, low impact aerobics, strength training, balance training and flexibility exercise.

Bicycle Rental Program - Beginning April 15th, 2013

Bicycles are available for a small fee to explore and utilize Lincoln Park and the Greenway Path.
Participants must sign an equipment waiver and release form, and a driver’s license will be held while the equipment is checked out. 
Rentals include a helmet, which must be worn.
Bicycles are available for adults and children.

History

Clements Center opened its doors in June of 1999. Named to honor the late community leader, William Clements, Clements Center has been offering a variety of classes ranging from leisure classes to Pima College classes for over a decade.

Clements Center also added a state of the art fitness Center in June of 2005. Clements Center hopes to continue to grow and serve the community in the future decades to come.

Abraham Lincoln Park
4325 S. Pantano - 6:00 am to 10:30 pm

Home to Clements Regional Recreation Center, Abraham Lincoln Park has a beautiful natural desert landscape, totaling 191 acres. Amenities include two softball complexes with total of 8 fields and two concessions, soccer fields, and a one mile walking path.  The walking path also links to the new Atterbury Wash Greenway Project.  The site also includes ramadas, a playground and four sand volleyball courts. The Children’s Outdoor Performance Area, Atturbury Bird and Animal Sanctuary are located within the park and are accessible from Escalante Road.

Atterbury Wash Greenway Project

This project is the first phase of the master-planned Atterbury Wash Greenway.  This initial segment of the Atterbury Wash Greenway will complete the section from Escalante Road to Fred Enke Drive.

Project is set to have a completion date of this phase at the END of October.

Upon completion, this paved potion will be 8/10th of mile in length and has DAWN to Dusk lights.  The path is for use to pedestrians and bicyclist only.
