Youth & Teen Programs

KIDCO

After school recreation program for ages 5-11 years (five year olds must be currently enrolled in kindergarten), Monday-Friday from school dismissal until 6pm.  Activities include: games, sports, Kids Club Snacks, crafts, music, movies, homework help and much more.  Fee required.  Discount available.  Please call Class Registration for more information. Schoolzout Program

Activity based program for ages 5-11 years (must be enrolled in kindergarten) during school breaks from 7:30am-6pm.  Cost is $2 per child per day.  No discounts.  Contact Center desk for more information and to register.

In-Betweeners Club

Daily after-school program for ages 11-14 years from school dismissal until 6pm.  Fee – Discounts – Please call 791-4877 for registration information.

In-Betweeners Club Schoolzout

For ages 11-14 years during school breaks from 7:30am-6:00pm.  Cost is $2 per child per day.  No discounts.  Contact Center desk for more information and to register.

Youth Open Drop-In Recreation

Monday-Friday from 5pm-Closing & Saturday from 8am-4pm.  Center fee applies. Must be 7 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or adult.  Daily Center Use Fees Apply.

Folkorico classes

Ages 3-14 years

Zumba for Adults and Seniors

Exercise can be fun!

Zumba fuses Latin rhythm and easy moves to create a rhythmic workout system

Senior Nutrition for ages 60+ (Meal donation $2.00)

Enhanced Fitness

Tucson Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with the Pima Council on Aging.  This new program offers four key components of fitness: strength training, flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning and balance training critical to reducing the risk of falls.  This class taught by a certified instructor accommodates all levels of fitness.  Expect regular fitness checks along with healthy dose of fun and socializing.

Level 1 – Mon.,/Wed., 10-11am, offers a more intense standing exercise program.
Level 2 – Tues./Thurs., 10-11am, participants are seated.

Note:  Additional fees apply through Pima Council on Aging.

Transportation to the Center

Pick-up and drop-off seniors that live in the area.  Join us for a day of fun, activities, food and the freedom from staying at home.  Please call Diane at 624-5313 for more information about this great program.

Every Thursday, 3:00 pm-6:00 pm located on the corner of Speeday and Riverview.
