Parks and Recreation - Off-Leash Dog Areas
Six off-leash dog areas are operated and maintained by the City of Tucson. These are located in various areas of the City and offer man’s best friend and their owners a chance to socialize and enjoy our parks.
What is it?
|
|
An off-leash dog area is a fenced designated public area that allows dogs to run freely and socialize with other dogs while being supervised by owners.
Some off-leash sites are divided into separate areas for large and small dogs, and some feature dog training areas.
A dog training and tournament area located at Reid Park is also available for rental.
Amenities differ by location. There is no charge to use a City of Tucson off-leash dog area.
Dog owners are expected to follow posted regulations at each site and maintain control of their pets at all times.
