Stay and Play Program (ages 3-5)Stay and Play is a great way to introduce your child to others their age and still have the security of having mom, dad or caregiver there. Each week we will introduce crafts, games, singing, storytime, building relationships and cooperative playtime. Adult must attend class with registered child. Only registered children allowed in class, no siblings. Child must be potty trained; parent is required to assist once per session. Program offered at the following recreation/neighborhood centers:

Senior Activity CardCenters offer different activities for adults 50 years and older. May include card and table games, trips, billiards, crafts, weight room use, exercise classes, computer classes, speakers, track use and swimming pool use on certain days and times (where available). Annual membership rates $25 for City Residents and $30 for Non-City Residents. Senior OlympicsThis annual sports festival attracts more than 3,000 athletes, ages 50+, during a 10-day span in late January. Events include: aerobics, archery, badminton, baseball, basketball, billiards, bocce, bowling, bridge, Canasta, chess, cribbage, croquet, cycling, Euchre, 500 Cards, golf, horseshoes, novelty field events, novelty swim events, Pinochle, powerlifting, racquetball, road races, shooting, shuffleboard, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, track/field and volleyball. |
