Jr. Staff in TrainingJunior Staff in Training Program (14-17 year olds) - Placement for teens includes Youth and Teen programs, City pools, and some offices. One of the goals of the Junior Staff in Training Program is to provide hands-on pre-employment training to help bring better-trained entry-level employees to the City's programs. The Junior Staff in Training Program schedule is determined by the site and the program needs of the Parks and Recreation Department. Junior Staff in Training must attend a scheduled orientation session to be eligible to be placed as a Junior Staff member. Every effort is made to place teens at their requested location, but this is not always possible. Current information about the Junior Staff in Training Program can be found in the Program Guide & Class Catalog. Registration opportunities vary by season. |
