The ParkWise program office, a division of the General Services Department, was created in 1997 to stimulate economic development within the ParkWise area by creating a partnership between the City and the community that efficiently and creatively utilizes parking resources to improve the overall accessibility of the region. The ParkWise program is responsible for focusing, coordinating, and supporting the City's role in parking and associated issues.
ParkWise is responsible for on-street parking, 6 parking garages and 5 lots in the Downtown area. The office also manages both resident and non-resident permit parking programs within the ParkWise boundaries.
