Floodplain Elevation Certificate Requests

Welcome to the Tucson Floodplain Elevation Certificate Request Information Section of the Planning &
Development Services Department.

Structures located in FEMA floodplains of “A” type zones are often required to have an elevation certificate
for each structure. If you are looking for an elevation certificate. First, check through our Property Research
Online to see if we already have one. If you cannot find one through PRO and you need to have one completed we can provide one for you.

The elevation certificate that we provide for you will be partially completed. The rest needs to be completed by an Arizona Registered Land Surveyor their web address is: http://www.btr.state.az.us/.

The Planning & Development Services Department provides new elevation certificates for $37.50.

To obtain an elevation certificate in person, please come to the City of Tucson Planning & Development Services Department in downtown Tucson at the Public Works Building, 201 N Stone, 1st floor (PDSD Customer Service Center). You may also mail in a Floodplain Elevation Certificate Application Form , with a $37.50 check,
payable to the City of Tucson.
