Minerals of Arizona
The acclaimed Tucson Gem and Mineral Show™ is held every year on the second full weekend of February. It has set the standard for gem and mineral shows around the world, and is now the largest gem and mineral show in the United States. The Show is open to the public and presents Retail Dealers only. Proceeds from the Show remain in the Tucson economy and are used to support mineral knowledge and appreciation.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults children 14 years and under are free. Tickets are available at the door and at all Ticketmaster outlets.

The TSO celebrates the 100th anniversary of Arizona statehood with a program of music, dance, spoken word and a performance by the world’s premier performer of the Native American flute, R. Carlos Nakai. Take a musical tour of our most renowned Arizona feature – Grofé’s exceptionally popular Grand Canyon Suite – and be inspired by a President’s Day observance with a narration of Copland’s Lincoln’s Portrait. All performed by Arizona’s first and longest continuously performing professional arts organization.

In her TSO debut, the world-renowned violinist will perform Brahms’ beautiful Violin Concerto shimmering with expression. Midori’s performance will cap an evening of jubilant music with a gypsy theme including Johann Strauss, Jr.’s lighthearted Gypsy Baron Overture, George Enescu’s popular Romanian Rhapsody No. 2 and Liszt’s lush Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2.
