 Dear Tucsonans,

I spend a good deal of time, especially between Thanksgiving and the New Year, reflecting on my many blessings. I am grateful for good health and that of my family and friends, for the gift of employment and meaningful work, and for the gift of living in a community that is generous, diverse and beautiful. I remember that many people face serious struggles and suffering. This season gives us all the chance to adjust our priorities and perspective if we’ve forgotten, even for a day, what matters most in life.

I’ll share Mayor/Council updates as we resume our meeting schedule in January. In the meantime I wish you all peace, comfort and love now and throughout the coming year.

Sincerely,

Karin
