The Williams Clements Center is having their annual BOO Bash. This is a friendly fun event featuring, food, games, hay rides, face painting and more. The event happens Saturday, Oct. 26th from 4pm- 8. If you need more info, call the Clements Center at 791-5787. Come dressed up and spook of a time!
Do you have any computers, laptops, monitors, or old telephones? What about old Microwaves, televisions, or vacuum cleaners that no longer work? Or maybe you just have some old personal documents that you would like to have safely shredded.
Vice Mayor Scott, Pro-Shred and E-Green IT-Solutions invite you to come to this almost FREE event. We would ask that you please donate a money donation to “the boot” for the firefighters of the Yarnell fire, or donate to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. A can of dog/ cat food, any old blankets or toys will be accepted.

Pima Council on Aging, Catholic Social Services of Tucson and COT Parks and Rec dept., will be offering senior lunches, Monday – Friday, here at the William Clements Center, located at 8155 E. Poinciana. What can you expect on the menu? How about Tuscan Pork Loin, Beef Stew, BBQ Chicken, Beef Fajitas, Pineapple Chicken, and much more is on this month’s menu. Individuals aged 60 and over or their spouses of any age may participate. Meals are provided on a reservation basis and must be reserved the week prior. Lunch will be served at noon and a donation of $2.00 per meal is requested which helps to support the program. If you have a hard time getting here and qualify for ADA, contact the Pima Council on Aging hotline at 790-7262 and arrange for your transportation services. That’s right; they will pick you up for lunch and take you back home, for free! If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact The William Clements Center at 791-5787.
This great annual event takes place on Sat. July 27th from 8 am - 12 pm.

Port of Tucson recently invited guest from Arizona and Sonora for a grand opening ceremony for international service. Port of Tucson is a neutral transportation facility located right here in Ward 4. Their focus is on connecting people and companies and getting them involved with logistics in the Southwest. Here's a link to some of the images from that event.
