Tucson Water's business and commercial customers who replace older, less-efficient urinals with EPA’s WaterSense-certified 1-pint flush models can receive a rebate of up to $200 through the Commercial High Efficiency Urinal Rebate Program.

Certain rebate conditions apply, including that urinals and flush valves be EPA WaterSense-certified and installed in properties receiving water from Tucson Water.

What to do with old urinals:
If you have City of Tucson commercial garbage collection, you may place the old urinal(s) in your dumpster. Urinals may also be taken to Los Reales Landfill as part of a commercial load ($32/ton; $15 minimum).
If you have commercial collection from another firm, please check with them regarding disposal. For information on other landfills in the area, click here.
We are not aware of any local organization that accepts old urinals for destruction and reuse in any kind of aggregate mix material.
