SmartScape Español is a professional-level certification series designed to provide Spanish-speaking landscape professionals with basic horticultural instruction to encourage consistent landscaping practices compatible with the urban Sonoran Desert. This series is equivalent to the well-known SmartScape Certified Landscape Professional Training Series which has been taught through the University of Arizona Pima County Cooperative Extension since 1991. The program is held twice per year in April and October.

All classes are sponsored by Tucson Water and are free of charge. The 2013 schedule has not yet been released. Visit the SmartScape Program website for more information or call (520) 626-5161.
