Tucson Water is committed to providing its customers with timely and meaningful information about the quality of Tucson's drinking water. To improve communication, we established a monitoring program to closely track the water quality throughout the distribution system and within Tucson's neighborhoods. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) supported our efforts to improve the collection and communication of water quality information to our customers by awarding an EMPACT grant.
Tucson Water has a Water Quality Information Line with current information about the quality of the water we deliver. The recorded information on this phone line is updated on a regular basis and includes the most recently available monitoring results for bacteria, chlorine, hardness, pH, sodium, and total dissolved solids. The phone number is (520) 791-2544.
To report a water quality concern, contact Tucson Water's Customer Support Office at (520) 791-5945.
