- Explosives
- Ammunition
- Regulated hazardous waste
- Regulated polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB)
- Regulated radioactive materials
- Raw septage
- Bulk liquids
- Intact automobiles
- Lead-acid batteries
- Waste oil
- Universal waste
- Untreated commercial biohazardous medical waste
- Any wastes prohibited by Federal, State of Arizona statute or regulation or City policy

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection at Los Reales Landfill
The Los Reales Landfill is a satellite drop-off/collection site for the Tucson Household Hazardous Waste Program. The collection site is free for City of Tucson residents. Pima County residents, and residents from the Towns of Marana, Oro Valley, and Sahuarita are subject to a $10 drop-off fee. No commercially generated waste is accepted. These HHW materials are accepted at Los Reales:
- Paint
- Batteries
- Cleaning products
- Hobby chemicals
- Pool chemicals
- Lawn and garden chemicals
- Drain openers
- Automotive fluids (5 gallon limit for oil)
- Glues
- Flammable products
- Propane tanks
- Fluorescent bulbs (tubes and compact fluorescents)
- Anything labeled toxic, poison, danger, acid, or caustic
- Computers (one computer per household). To dispose or recycle multiple computers call 623-7162
Televisions are not accepted for recycling at the landfill. Only residential televisions may be disposed of safely in the landfill.
