Vehicle, Equipment, Service Bids and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Through coordination with City departments, Fleet Services identifies vehicles and equipment for replacement. Specifications are developed using the latest information on automotive technology. In conjunction with Procurement, a bid package is developed. Subsequently, Fleet Services evaluates the bids and provides recommendation for the purchase of new vehicles and equipment. Each year the City purchases approximately 225 vehicles and miscellaneous equipment.
The City of Tucson is continually soliciting bids or proposals for vehicles, equipment, and related services. Current solicitations can be viewed by going to the Procurement Department web site http://www.tucsonprocurement.com/bidders_bidopportunities.aspx?Orderby=ContractNum.
Interested parties may contact the City of Tucson Procurement Department at (520) 791-4347 with questions or to obtain copies of bid calls or RFPs.
