CALL FOR PROJECTS TO ADVANCE P-CHIP GOALS

The City of Tucson Housing and Community Development Department is accepting proposals from not-for-profit organizations with capacity to advance P-CHIP goals through the following grant opportunities beginning November 21, 2023.

The City will additionally will release three additional Requests for Proposals under the P-CHIP grant round on or around the first week of January 2023.  These opportunities include: 

VISIT THE ZOO FOR A HOUSING RESOURCE FAIR

Get a free visit to Reid Park Zoo when you attend a housing resource fair on Friday, Nov. 18, from 1:30-4 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Admission to the Zoo is free with a wristband for those who register and are attending the workshops. Registration and check in for the workshops is at the Zoo Gate 7, next to the main admission booths. Attend informational workshops, and get information about buying a home, down payment/closing cost assistance, rental/mortgage assistance, mortgage credit repair, reverse mortgage, and much more.

City of Tucson Housing and Community Development Department invites applications from non-profit partners to participate in the Tucson Homeless Work Program

Applications due November 15, 2022

The Tucson Homeless Work Program is a collaborative effort to provide day labor/temporary employment opportunities for people experiencing homelessness while simultaneously addressing municipal clean-up needs and contributing to a more welcoming and vibrant Tucson. The program is collaboratively administered by the City of Tucson Housing and Community Development Department, City of Tucson Environmental and General Services Department, and not-for-profit organizations.

Follow-up Virtual Session to Community Strategy Forum to Address Unsheltered Homelessness in the Tucson Area

In a follow up to last month's two-day community strategy forum on unsheltered homelessness, the City of Tucson Housing and Community Development (HCD) and Tucson Pima Collaboration to End Homelessness (TPCH) will hold a listening virtual session on Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
