The City of Tucson’s GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Services is hosting two Map Tucson trainings that are open to the public. The free trainings take place Wednesday, Feb. 26, 10-11:30 a.m., and Thursday, Feb. 27, 2-3:30 p.m.
Both are at the City’s Information Technology building, 481 W. Paseo Redondo, Pueblo Room. You must register to attend. Topics include turning layers on and off, working with pop-ups, using the toolbar, using drawing tools, and more.
Map Tucson is a one-stop, web-GIS tool that allows someone to query and map the City of Tucson’s most-used spatial data. Questions may be sent to GIS_IT@tucsonaz.gov.
