Pima County Health Department Community Stakeholder Meetings

The Pima County Health Department is hosting multiple community stakeholder meetings to discuss proposed County ordinance changes, giving retailers and community members the opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions. The ordinance changes would raise the minimum legal age to purchase tobacco products to 21 years old, create a tobacco retail permit system, and amend the current smoking ordinance to include vaping products.

The next meeting dates are tomorrow, Feb. 15, 1-2 p.m. at the Martha Cooper Library (1377 N. Catalina Ave.) and Tuesday, Feb. 19, noon-1 p.m., at the Mission Library (3770 S. Mission Road).
