Weight Room Orientation Classes

  • Monday, 6 p.m.; Wednesday, Noon (Sign-up begins 15 minutes in advance; space is limited.) 
  • Parent/Guardian approval is required for all participants ages 14-17
  • Participants ages 14-17 must be accompanied by a parent/designated adult when taking an Orientation class.
  • Participants ages 14 and 15 must be accompanied by a designated adult, who has completed an Orientation class, at all times while using Fitness Room equipment
  • Weight Room Orientation Video - A release form must be completed at the recreation center acknowledging that you have watched the video.

Youth Programs

KIDCO (Ages 5-11)

After-school recreation program Monday-Friday, for ages 5-11 (currently enrolled in kindergarten through 5th grade) includes sports, games, performing arts and special events. Space available basis. Sites and times are subject to change. There is a $500 resident and $625 non-city resident “program” charge per child. A discount program is available for City of Tucson residents only. Child will be registered for the entire school year at initial registration. Please note: different rates and registration dates apply for non-residents.

Open Recreation (Ages 7+)

For youth ages 7 and older. Game room activities include table tennis, air hockey, computers, billiards and foosball.
Scheduled hours for open gym activities also available. Facility pass or daily fee required.

Gym Schedule

Table tennis and basketball shoot-around (no game play) are available in 1-hour blocks by reservation only. Four people allowed per court. 

Reserve a court in person or by calling 520-791-4589 beginning at 8 a.m. for same-day reservations and 2 p.m. for next-day reservations. No afternoon reservations are taken on Friday for the following Monday. The main contact for groups must leave a phone number and/or an email.

Memberships or daily fees are required for access. Everyone must wear a mask during play.

Table Tennis
Monday-Friday: 9-9:50 a.m., 10-10:50 a.m., 11-11:50 a.m., 12-12:50 p.m., and 1-1:50 p.m.

Basketball shoot around (no game play)
Monday-Friday: 4-4:50 p.m., 5-5:50 p.m.

Sun Tran Bus Passes

Sun Tran bus passes are sold at the center. Passes include daily, monthly prepaid cards. Load Products onto Cards with RPASS.

Second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
