The in-ground facility features three skating bowls - a Flow Course Bowl, Kidney Bowl, and Clam Bowl - totaling 16,000 square feet of skating area. The facility also includes a shade ramada, perimeter fencing, and lights for evening use. The site is not supervised and there is no charge for general use.


Eric Michael Ogden Skate Park
Catalina High School

Hours: Reservations available 6 a.m.-10:30 p.m.

Two fenced in-line/roller hockey rinks are located at Catalina High School. Both rinks are available on a first-come, first-served basis, or you may make reservations by contacting TUSD.

Above-ground facility featuring street vertical props, rails, and ramps enclosed in 20,000-square foot asphalt complex. Site is not supervised. There is no charge for use.


St. John's School Skate Park
St. John's School Park

Saturday and Sunday: 6 a.m.-10 p.m.
In June and July, Monday-Sunday: 6 a.m.-10 p.m.

Skate Park Rules

Skate Park facilities are non-supervised.  Skate at your own risk. 

For the safety and enjoyment of these public facilities, the following rules are posted and will be enforced:

  1. Skateboards, in-line skates, roller skates and scooters may use skate parks. Scooters are not allowed in the deep pool at Santa Rita Skate Park.  

  2. Bicycles are not permitted. Use of prohibited devices is considered trespassing. Violators will be cited. 

  3. Protective equipment should be worn at all times. These park facilities are for various skill levels. Use of these facilities may expose the user to serious injury including broken bones, paralysis, heat exhaustion, or worse. Know your abilities and skate within your limits. 

  4. Inspect the skate area prior to using and report any defects immediately to Tucson Parks and Recreation (520-791-4873).  Skating is prohibited when park is wet or it is raining. 

  5. Please put all trash in designated trash receptacles. No littering or graffiti. 

  6. Skate parks are a drug-free recreation areas; alcohol or tobacco is not permitted. 

  7. Please enjoy your food and drink outside the skate park; food or glass containers are prohibited. 

  8. Special events such as competitive or demonstration events require prior special approval.  Contact Tucson Parks and Recreation (520-791-4873) for information on reservations and fees for special events.

  9. Gain respect. Show your fellow skaters, the neighborhoods, and the skate parks the respect it deserves. 

El Presidio and Sunset Parks 

Pursuant to Section 21-3(7) of the Tucson Code and to Mayor and Council action taken on Monday, September 26, 1994, skateboarding is prohibited at El Presidio and Sunset Parks from 6:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on weekdays and during special events on weekends.
