TRAFFIC ALERT
DOWNTOWN ROAD CLOSURES
TUCSON MEET YOURSELF FESTIVAL
On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 6 p.m., multiple road closures will begin for the Tucson Meet Yourself Festival in Downtown Tucson. The following roads will be closed to vehicular travel:
Tuesday, October 4, 6 p.m. through Monday, October 10, 5 a.m. –
- Stone Avenue from Alameda Street to Congress Street.
- Pennington Street from Church Avenue to Scott Avenue.
Wednesday, October 5, 6 p.m. through Monday, October 10, 5 a.m. –
- Church Avenue from Pennington Street to Alameda Street.
Friday, October 7, 6 p.m. through Monday, October 10, 5 a.m. –
- Church Avenue from Congress Street to Pennington Street.
All streets are scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday, October 10.
Pedestrian and bicycle access is being maintained in and around the road closures for the festival. Businesses, parking garages and parking lots are open and accessible during the road closures.
On Thursday, October 6, beginning at 6 a.m., Stone Avenue at Sixth Street is scheduled to close to all southbound and northbound travel, while crews install a new bike and pedestrian bridge across the Stone Avenue underpass. Southbound travel on Stone Avenue is scheduled to reopen by 11 a.m. on Friday, October 7 and northbound travel is scheduled to reopen by approximately 4 p.m. This bridge installation is part of the Downtown Links Improvement Project.
Motorists traveling in the downtown area may experience traffic delays during these closures, so please plan accordingly. The traveling public should use caution when driving, bicycling, or walking in these areas. Please watch for event participants, obey all traffic control, and watch for detour signs.

El martes 4 de octubre de 2022, a las 6 p. m., comenzarán múltiples cierres de carreteras para el Festival Tucson Meet Yourself en el centro de Tucson. Las siguientes vías estarán cerradas al tránsito vehicular:
Martes, 4 de octubre, 6 p.m. hasta el Lunes, 10 de octubre, 5 a.m. –
- Stone Avenue desde Alameda Street hasta Congress Street.
- Pennington Street desde Church Avenue hasta Scott Avenue.
Miércoles, 5 de octubre, 6 p.m. hasta el Lunes, 10 de octubre, 5 a.m. –
- Church Avenue desde Pennington Street hasta Alameda Street.
Viernes, 7 de octubre, 6 p.m. hasta el Lunes, 10 de octubre, 5 a.m. –
- Church Avenue desde Congress Street hasta Pennington Street.
