  Tucson Welcomes Immigrant Families!

There has been a lot of national discussion about the role of immigrants in our nation. In Tucson, we know exactly what role immigrants play in our community; they are mothers, fathers and grandparents, they are honor roll students and civic leaders, they are our bosses, employees and volunteers and they are our neighbors and friends and we stand with them.

Tucson’s City government and police leadership has been very clear that our public servants (including city employees like the police) will NOT be participating in immigration enforcement at the request of the Federal government, despite threats made by the President.
