In coordination with the Presidential proclamation, Governor Doug Ducey has ordered flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff immediately until sunset on December 9, 2021 to honor former Senator Bob Dole, who died yesterday at age 98.
We also want to honor and remember the 2,403 service members and civilians who were killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. This year is the 80th anniversary of that infamous day in US History, which is remembered every year on that date, since being designated as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day by Congress in 1994. Flags fly at half-staff every year on this date to honor the victims.
