Senior Resources During the Corona Virus Pandemic
During this challenging time, older adults face unique challenges and needs. Included below you’ll find links to direct resources for older adults, information on senior hours at grocery stores and important public awareness messaging tools that you can use to get the word out about avoiding isolation and scams.
- PCOA provides an on-line guide to resources for older adults and a Helpline at (520) 790-7262.
- The REACH AZ Warm Helpline at 1 (833) REACH AZ (or 1-833-732-2429), is a warm helpline available from 9am-5pm to combat social isolation and loneliness, and to prevent more serious crisis situations from occurring. The REACH AZ Warm Helpline is provided through a partnership with the ASU Office of Community Health and Resiliency, UA Center on Aging and College of Public Health and Pima Council on Aging.
- Senior Shopping Hours are available at many grocers. Please call before visiting to confirm hours. Learn more about curbside pick-up or delivery options via the online PCOA COVID-19 resource guide.
